W Carter's Peterborough depot was relocated in 2003 in order to create a large scale distribution and container storage depot at Alconbury Airfield.
Alconbury airfield is strategically located close to the junction of the A1 and the A14, approximately 3 miles North West of Huntingdon, which gives instant access to the major trunk roads of the East of England and communicating with the Motorway network.
Its lies within its own secure fenced site with gatehouse security and provides storage accommodation in the form of warehousing and a substantial hard standing area which is ideally suited to the lifting and storage of laden shipping containers.
