W Carters originally opened its Tilbury depot in 1999 solely as a vehicle distribution centre but expanded it in 2004 to offer loaded container lifting and storage.
Tilbury's strategic location makes it the natural point for distribution for the south east of England and future developments such as the 2012 Olympics and the Thames Gateway.
Its lies within its own secure fenced site with gatehouse security and provides storage accommodation and a substantial hard standing area which is ideally suited to the lifting and storage of laden shipping containers.
